Microsoft gets a sense of humour and weirdness in Win7 wallpaper art

Windows 7 new artwork is so unlike what Microsoft. I'm glad they are adding a breath of fresh air and atleast dont appear to be corporate hardasses with showing fun stuff in Windows itself.

There are various artists who contributed to this work, here are the most notable samples

Yuko Kondo, in Japan, now in London.

This is a really weird artwork, cute but at the same time dark. It reminds me of the cute cuddly critters that could attack at any time.

Artwork by Punga in Buenos Aires.

This is how weird my dreams generally are, I certainly wouldn't want a wallpaper like this, nevertheless the artwork is great.

Created by Klaus Haapaniemi of Finland, now based in London.

This mad claymation style artwork is quite similar to some of the artwork used in Business mags, like Outlook. I wonder if it is the same artist.

Artwork - Chris Sickles of Red Nose Studios, from Indiana.

Invisible Car

Wow an artist really did create an invisible car...well more like a camouflaged car, but really neat. Sara Watson, 22-year-old student at the University of Central Lancashire spray painted a battered Skoda Fabia to match the car park and entrance to her art studio. Good thing it's battered because other cars sure will be banging!

As soon as read this in the Times of India, I had to quickly check it out, funnily Times never showed the image of it and therefore I wouldn't have blogged about it.

Reminds me very much of Julian Beever - the illutionist painter who paints on pavements

Mr.Broken Pinky

For those who know about my accident, here is the "Official Story" as to how I broke my little finger a.k.a Mr.Pinky. Well we lost our ultra-light pool ball to play with, so some wise guy thought of "Hey let's play with a football instead", well little did they realize that a football + a wussy catcher like me would lead to BOOM...a broken pinky.

I wish I had the snaps of the broken finger which turned 60 degrees left, but I'm really glad I had the presence of mind to put it back in place immediately (let that be a lesson kids). Never thought it would be a "Complete fracture".

Well for those who are already bored with the blah-blah, here is a a graphical and often comical run down of what happened :D

A Wussy me

Yup the entire bone cracked and went left where it shouldn't have. But you know what I'll miss the most out of this... picking my nose with my little finger!
